Had the misfortune of visiting this establishment on 25/01/24. Firstly the place could do with a good clean , but seeing as I was visiting my granddaughter who's at uni I didn't make a fuss . I ordered ham egg and chips, very basic meal , no garnish . I'm eating a bit of everything when I then notice my egg is not very well cooked actual clear egg white , again I didn't complain as my granddaughter was paying . Fast forward to Friday night 7 o'clock and I'm in absolute agony , vomiting and diarrhoea. I made no link to this until my husband asked what I had eaten the whole day before and it was when I said I hadn't eaten all day except at Wetherspoons. I'd just like you to know that I have spent the WORST 2 days of my life up until today . I will never ever eat at your establishment again .
Ordered food and drinks using the app. Waited 25 minutes for the food but no drinks arrived, when I asked the person serving the food about this drinks was told she only does food. Eventually someone came to check my drinks and when they arrived my wife's large red wine was in a half pint glass, we asked if it could be in a wine glass but told they had no wine glasses left. Also there was one bottle of mayo for the entire pub. Food was cold and like a savers menu McDonalds burger. This was at 5.00 on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't even that busy.
The menu is always absolutely abysmal as they usually have only half of the options available (both drink and food). This visit the fryer was broken so couldn't have the things we came here for. The tables are always dirty and service is incredibly slow, only come for the convenience of the location.
Really great beer options! 🍺 from cheaper to famous ones... Additionally, the food is great! Staff are friendly! It is well located and quite often busy! Really recommended! 👌
Me and my friend had an absolute blast at this pub, sitting underneath the chandeliers at a clean table! We enjoyed some quality drinks, which were made in good time and done as such properly. The toilets were clean when I used them and navigation wise, I could easily find them. It was special having music playing in this bar, accompanied by the fan on the ceiling!
