A hidden gem! The food was fresh and delicious, very friendly staff and very nice environment. Highly recommend to get “bread and olives” for starter.
Food was excellent. Steak melted in mouth. Definitely order the garlic bread. Different to usual, and really good. Service was very good. Friendly and relaxed. Would 100% recommend and will be returning.
We only had a 60th Birthday party here. The food was great though I thought the Rib Eye Steak was overpriced. The bar tender said that there was NO Brambuie OR Sherry, and I was bought a Baileys instead that I don't really like, which I thought was strange, but having had a word with the Owner they DID have both, and the bartender has since left!! Many apologies from the Owner.
Heard about the new chef so had to try it out. Had the burger and it was possibly the nicest burger i have ever tasted!!! Slightly messy to eat but a taste sensation. The chips had a lovely crisp to them also. Highly recommend anyone going here for food and a quiet drink.
It was ideal for the Walking Festival that i was attending. All my walks within easy reach. Nice country village, interesting church next door. Comfortable bed. Good menu and food. Close to Barry, some busy roads to join. Many attractions close by.
