We have live music every Friday night giving a range of styles for customers to enjoy, with a fun monthly quiz 4-00pm first Sunday of the month, and three darts teams. The courtyard garden has been developed with lots of plants, bamboo and, just for something different – candles, and we were lucky enough to win Gold, Silver and two Bronze awards from the Spencer Memorial Garden Competition for our efforts. I say our efforts – this has been done not just by ourselves but also customers helping with planting and great ideas and has been greatly changed to give a secluded and intimate feel!

Really nice place for a pint of real ale. Friendly welcome, interesting interior, a sociable goldfish and good choice of localish beers. Very impressive.
Have not visited a pub like this in a very very long time! Beautiful pub in a pleasant village, We visited here on a Sunday & had the pleasure of trying there roast! Superb in every way. Exellent service & Great Vibe 10/10.
Brilliant atmosphere 👏. Really friendly bar staff. And had a top regga night last night. The place to go and have a chilled night and taste some fine ales 🍺. 🍺
Absolutely loved this pub and just wish we could have stayed longer! Water and biscuits for the dog, he loved getting some fuss, and a lovely cider and food for us. The food was incredibly priced - it was really high quality, absolutely loved it and the garden was incredible (inside is lovely too!). Toilets were a unique treat! Staff couldn't do enough for us. Can't rate this place high enough, highly recommend it - we'll definitely be coming back
The was my first pub that I visited in Banbury. Everyone was super friendly. Lots of good beers to choose from, and they even let me sample some to help. Great place for a pint and a snack. However I was disappointed with Sunday Roast. Not to worry, I will defiantly be back.
