5 stars all the way, had an amazing pizza, one of the best I’ve ever had so thanks to James for that. The wife had 2 course meal of mushroom starter then traditional carvery, she said it was very nice and good value, proper potatoes not the frozen ones. All in all a very pleasurable experience with lovely staff, will definitely come again, well done 👍🏻
A top tier carvery served by a lovely gentleman (didn't catch his name). Another gentleman called James went above and beyond which made our experience even better! Will definitely be back and highly recommend! Thankyou
Went this evening with friends we all really enjoyed the festive menu the carvery food was fresh hot lots of choice would recommend. Staff very polite and friendly. Just one little niggle my friend wanted the profiteroles for pudding when we ordered at the bar the really nice lady on the till said they would be ready in a hour , that would be enough time for us to have our starters and main . Unfortunately when we was ready to have our puddings they still never had the profiteroles 😔. Hopefully when we come again ( which we will ) they will have them for our friend.
Stopped here for a meal on our way home from Nottingham and having never been to a Stonehouse before so was unsure what to expect. The staff were friendly and helpful with knowledge of the menu which is always nice to find. Food at The Gap Inn was very delicious we had a selection of dishes to try. The only dish that I didn't rate was the Salt n Pepper beer battered mushrooms as they didn't taste of much other than mushrooms but everything else was spot on. The pizza's are definitely a highlight as the one we had was absolutely fantastic full of flavour and a nice fresh tasting stone cooked dough.
Food was fantastic. Great value, friendly staff. Nice play area outside for kids. Definitely be back.
