My husband and I went to the Greyhound for our first date night since the birth of our daughter and had a perfect evening. We would absolutely recommend it for the food, service and atmosphere. We were served by Anton and Dan who made the evening. They were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Thank you for a lovely evening :D
Superb venue for a Friday lunch. We were served by Angela who was friendly and attentive but without being overbearing, the pub had a really friendly family feel and the food was excellent. Would come hear again and happily recommend to others.
Not a great experience last night, recommend to my partner as I had been previously and it had been lovely. While my soup was very nice the bread served with it was a skinny piece of white bread with no butter. My main was a small portion of pea risotto made with tinned peas, two very small overcooked, dryed up bits of sea bass and 2 hard scallops. It’s no harder to cook good food than it is to cook bad food? Won’t be returning until you get a new chef
Used this place most recently for a wake after a family funeral at the Crematorium just down the road. The buffet selection was great and served the number of people well. I thought the food and quality was well priced. Thank you to all the staff for making an emotional day easier and hassle free.
Really enjoyed our family meal together. We didn't book, but they managed to fit us in. Family of 4 2 courses and drinks about £80. Great customer service. Food a little pricey, so wouldn't go regularly, but a nice treat.
