New managers recently stepped in, now serving a Turkish/Mediterranean menu. Our food was fantastic - fresh, everything homemade (moussaka, hummus, falafel, salad), service was good. My only criticism is the ambiance/ decor isn't great but if you have fantastic food and lovely people, decor can always be easily improved over time. If you like Mediterranean food, make the effort to take the drive over. You won't regret it.
Dog friendly… ish. Not allowed on the furniture. Quite expensive for a lunch. Lots of food though. I prefer a light lunch. Each to their own though. Mine was meant to come with salad & chips, when I questioned this I got told the salad is in the wrap. So I wasn’t too impressed with the answer when the menu clearly states otherwise. Friendly staff when we arrived. Came away stinking of smoke though, as the wood burner wasn’t lit correctly… Our clothes and dogs smelt of a bonfire lol. That’s ok though, as they were trying to keep us warm…. Don’t think we will return here tho. My wrap should of been impressive for £13. But it really wasn’t up to scratch.
First time going after the change of ownership and honestly will be back very soon! Beautiful food, plenty of everything including atmosphere, flavour, friendly staff and portion size! We had the hot meze, the stuffed aubergine and the chicken saute and we were stuffed. Extremely good value too
Last miniute booking, easy to find and lovely local pub. Florin our waiter was fabulous, very friendly & welcoming. We all opted for the beer battered fish & chips, very tasty, well presented and came out fast! Will definitely be visiting again.
Fresh and tasty food daily cooked. The best ever Sunday roast 😋. Fireplace wirh wood make a cosy atmosphere and you feel like home. Very friendly owners make you feel welcome 🙏 and always to comeback here. Thank you for lunch
