Great stay. Very warm welcome. Nothing was an issue. Food and drink were second to none, and the room catered for my every need. I would recommend this setting for anyone who is passing by, you won't be disappointed.
We have passed this pub on many occasions whilst out on my bike and wondered what it would be like. Tonight I got the opportunity visit and It certainly didn’t disappoint. The sight of a selection of 4 real ales three of which were local on entering was a good start. the welcome was lovely and instantly made us feel welcome. Whilst busy the young lady behind the bar took time to tell us about the pub and when able came over to tell us about the food. There was a great mixture of young and older people leading to a lovely environment. Certainly be retuning to try the food very soon. The gamekeeper was very good too. Thank you for the welcome
Fantastic place to stay. Very warm, friendly staff. Food fantastic and service is amazing. Would highly recommend staying and eating here, but as there are only a few rooms, booking is recommended.

The staff at The Countryman's Inn were polite, welcoming, and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and were quick to offer suggestions when we were unsure about what to order. The food itself was exceptional. Each dish was cooked to perfection, and the portion sizes were huge. It was clear that the chefs take pride in their work, and it definitely showed in the quality of the food. In addition to the great food and service, the atmosphere at The Countryman's Inn was fantastic. The decor was cozy and inviting, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into creating a welcoming environment for diners. Overall, I would highly recommend The Countryman's Inn to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I will definitely be returning here in the future.
Stayed here for the first time on a work trip a few months ago. What a great wee pub. Staff so friendly and helpful. Room was basic but comfortable and clean, perfect for my needs. Loads of teas and coffees etc. I arrived late and they had stopped serving food but clearly saw a hungry visitor and russled me something up, I was so grateful and really enjoyed chatting to the bar lady while I had my grub and sampled great local beer. Wishing this community business all the best.

We have two bars which both have a warm and friendly atmosphere and are well stocked with locally brewed beers. Outside, the lovely beer garden allows our guests to enjoy the Dales air.
