Was in for a couple of pints before the Hibs v Rangers match, our usual venue of choice, & was as good as usual.
Went in for a late night cap before retiring to lodgings for the night. Friendly staff, a good range of beers, wine & spirits. All at very reasonable prices. (Added bonus of plenty of tv's to watch various sports).
Nice pub, great staff and in case of a Hibernian football match packed with green fans!
A warm friendly welcome and every beer I tried was excellent, I feel it's more a locals bar than a tourist place but a fantastic welcome was given. The decor was traditional and very interesting. I have been in 3 times now but unfortunately my son is moving to Glasgow, but if I'm ever in Edinburgh in the future I'll be popping in.
Nice little pub with quick & friendly service. We only popped in for one drink before they closed, but it had a nice vibe and I'd definitely go back.
