This pub is the pits. The food is expensive, and the portions are small. The staff are miserable, and the female manager is rude. They don't care to talk to you if you're not a regularYou're made to feel uncomfortable. it's not welcoming. They have a quiz night on Wednesdays, and tables are held for the people attending the quiz. So if you go for a drink or food you can not sit down.

The mojitos were great and so was the food. Husband loved his burger, I loved my rump steak and grilled chicken. The chips were good. Father-in-law didn't really like the sausage but liked his rump steak, gammon and chicken.

Popped in recently for some food & drinks as I had a Sizzling Pub voucher to use up. I’ve not been here in years, must be 7/8 and it’s pretty much the same just with the added benefit of the outside all-weather area which they’ve made a good job of! To be fair for what it is, it’s pretty good. A locals pub with a Skillet menu that pretty much everyone likes. They were sold out of some ingredients so we just had the same - x2 Sirloin steaks with Diane sauce plus dirty chips. Not bad for the money at all. Big screens for the football/sports/racing,

The staff are too young and they aren’t customer friendly. No welcome just a dazed look. Also waiting staff are way to young and zero personality. Other than that the food was delicious great portion sizes. There were rumours of you serving child portions. I clarified that they were wrong. Great outdoor space. Parking has become limited. Would come back as it’s my local. Just tweaks need to be addressed.
