We arrived a bit earlier before our table was ready and one of the serving staff was very accommodating in getting a table for us. The Yorkshire pudding was a bit stodgy.we both had the lamb shank Sunday roast as all the beef was gone .

Good pub close to the Walthamstow Wetlands about 10 minutes walk from Tottenham Hale Station. Three cask beers on handpump when I visited. Loads of outdoor seating in the lovely garden alongside the Coppermill Stream. The pub has a decent food offering with classics such as fish and chips, pies, burgers, sausage and mash, steaks etc plus interesting dishes like prawn and calamari, mussels and various vegetarian and vegan options.

This was my first visit to this place. Located very near Tottenham Hale with parking too, costs £2 for 3 hours but you can redeem this when ordering food. I've heard good things and was excited to experience it all. We had a lovely table right by the window with the sun shining in. Although it wasn't made clear that you order at the bar counter, QR code or if the server would take your order. I got up to ask, ended up going to the bar to order. Out of all of us, I placed the order first, but for some reason my food took ages, like over 25 minutes. I had to get up again to enquire about. For a Saturday afternoon, most items were sold out or unavailable. Whilst sitting down, another table arrived and sat next to us. They were given complimentary santa hats and crackers but we had to ask, not sure about the disparity. We ordered the sharing platter as a starter, £19 for a small Camembert cheese, 2 slices of garlic bread. As they ran out of wings, we had extra calamari. They arrived over cooked and dry, certainly not worth the money, very disappointed, it looked pathetic. The main took absolutely ages, I had to chase a few times whilst my friends had almost eaten theirs. When it finally arrived it was salty and the burger was burnt. We were too hungry to send it back. We ordered 2 kids meals, same dish, why did one take extra 25 mins to arrives, exact same thing happened with their desserts, why? Again had to wait absolutely ages for dessert only to be told the kitchen couldn't get the fondant consistency right so we had to choose an alternative, yet they ran out of the crumble. Overall it was disappointing and underwhelming. The starter was the biggest disappointment and not worth the money. Probably wouldn't go again.

A cosy pub with a lovely big garden looking at the canal. There are lots of trees in the garden, which are in bloom in spring. It looks beautiful then. We had beef burgers and sweet potato chips. Vegetarian burger is on the menu too. Food was good, really enjoyed it. It can get busy at the weekend but on the weekday it was quiet. We came on bikes and left them by the fence, was easy to watch them.

The food is tasty, especially the burger. I love the calamari. The drinks are amazing. The service is good, one crew did not give the specific instruction on how to order, she just said to scan the QR and left, maybe she was new but it was fine. Ordering at the counter is better. Staff is nice. Their menu book needs to be cleaned, kind of sticky to touch, something was spilled on it. The lightings is enough and the music is great. I will recommend this place.
