Very much a locals pub,ideal place to have a few before going Millwall.
The Ancient Foresters is a simple pub come music venue served up with a laugh! Not a place for real ale drinkers but it does not pretend to be. There is a pool table in the back room, a rare treat nowadays. Everyone was great, fine place for a beer. Then there is everything that goes on behind the scenes. This place looks after everyone getting home when they have been on assisted holidays. Time out then The Ancient Forresters helps to get you home. X love this. This is a great fun place.
Its like gods waiting room, smells like it too. staff are ok but not sure about the landlady and landlord, grumpy and unfriendly is not the word, AVOID. Pic is the landlord and landlady.
What an amazing pub! As soon as my partner and I walked in we felt at home. Brilliant live music that had me up dancing for hours. Such a warm, friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere. This pub is special and a rare find!
