Hands down the best pizza in London 🍕 Food and drinks prices are really reasonable too! Great atmosphere inside and out, don't forget to get the dips!
overall: worth the hype, worth the wait. definitely get the garlic dip as well! ranking - vecna 🥇, nduja 🥈, funghi 🥉, crisp tip ❗️: find a seat at the pub, then order the pizza. be prepared to wait. we pre-ordered pizzas 2 weeks ahead via phone call for saturday lunch & waited 45mins after ordering. pizza 🍕: all of the pizza base are so crispy, with the perfect crunch. all the pizza, including the edge are devoured with the dip. vecna 🍯: that hot honey is liquid gold. crisp 🧀: my least favourite as a little too heavy-handed on the tomato sauce, making it a bit soggy in the centre. garlic dip 🧄: it was so delicious that it deserves a separately shout out!
Pre-book if you want food!! (24 hours notice for grandma pies / peperoni chips) as it gets very busy and you will likely be turned away for food. Prices are really reasonable for both drinks and pizza! Especially considering it's to die for, hands down the best pizza I've had in London. It was fresh, hot and had a perfect crispy base, you can also tell they use really high quality produce! Lastly get both dips, again they are absolutely delicious and go so well with this pizza!
The Chancellors is tucked in a road just behind the river, and has a warm air to it with seating available outside rain or shine. Inside, the pub is well adorned with relatively limited seating, particularly when the walk-ins arrive. The big pull at the moment is the Crisp W6 pizza which is well worth the price and visit. When we came, we opted to buy 3 of the smaller pizzas to try a wider variety of flavours which was well worthwhile! The base has a great crunch to it and the toppings do not overwhelm. The tomato sauce was a little on the acidic side which cuts through the fattier pizza toppings but can be an acquired taste. Overall well worth the visit for a pizza and a pint with some classic flavours.
55km round cycle from east London for that pizza. Worth the hype! And great value for such amazing quality food. Staff were all really nice and helpful, advising us on popular choices and the service was really quick
