Really nice bar, owned by Brazilians who (thankfully) want to maintain the pub look/feel of the place. Really friendly staff (thanks Hudson) and quirky decor. Surprisingly quiet for a Wednesday evening in Shoreditch, but I guess it’s rammed on karaoke nights (which I’ll avoid at all costs!). I’ve been before on busier nights and will most definitely do so again.
Always great staff and a great place to find people to chat too, although usually on the quieter side so good for an intimate chat.
Cosy little place with super friendly staff, hoping to become my regular drinking spot, but unfortunately cannot justify £34 for two double whiskey. Maybe the girl charged wrong? I’m not sure. This was Fri 15th Sept. It was karaoke night. Left it a while to review because I do like this place and the guys are really nice, but not sure if I can spend that much for 2 double whiskeys…
Saw Man from Uranus play here 16 years ago and it’s still the best spot in London
