The Kings Head Hotel was formerly a charming Victorian pub, now a deluxe boutique hotel with a bar and restaurant where our guests can relax and enjoy a cocktail of their choice.
All rooms are air-conditioned and include an ensuite bathroom with under floor heating. The vast majority of rooms also have a TV in the bathroom. The rooms have a mini fridge, a safe, a smart 42 inch TV with satellite TV and a coffee and tea station. Free WiFi available.
The hotel bedrooms have a smart lighting system with touch control lighting scenes (A/C & heating and lights), and room status indicators (“Make up room and “Do not Disturb). The lights turn themselves on and off as when the room is occupied. The rooms are also equipped with a media hub with USB, European and American sockets.
The Kings Head Pub offers a range of dishes made with locally sourced produce. A continental breakfast buffet is included in our standard room rate (or available to purchase separately), and English breakfast or brunch are also available from the pub menu.
Our multi lingual staff look forward to welcoming you. Discover the contemporary elegance of The Kings Head Hotel, where your only concern will be how best to relax!.

We were 3 travellers. We booked a room at the King's head Hotel. For one night I paid £80. It was an instant booking. They charged £20 for security deposit that is refundable. They don't serve breakfast, their lifts don't work so it's a manual work up the stairs. Room: we loved the room 5/5. It was spacious and very comfortable including the bathroom. There is a good supply of hot water. It was super warm inside. The ladies at the reception was super nice. The gentleman was nice too when we checked in initially. He helped us up the steps with the luggage. The building was pretty too, the neighborhood is self sufficient. The hotel has Morrison supermarket behind. So you can get your food items around. The hotel has a pub attached where you can sit and just chill by yourself. It's basically a partly self service hotel but comfortable for short and reasonable stays. The roads can get noisy since its the main road but you can get a good sleep in your room. I would definitely come here again.
It's a fine hotel room, the street is a little noisy. No parking, take a chance in nearby neighborhoods. But the pub is dead. No customers, nothing going on, only commercial, boring beers.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Drinks served in a timely manner
Nice but they need more staff behind the bar when they are having DJ's playing music there on a friday night.
Super friendly wait staff, and delicious food! Everyone here was very kind and welcoming to our little family!
