Overcrowded, humid, loud, filled with boorish city types and an ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF. Almost exclusively male patrons and female staff when I visited. Overpriced even by London prices. I ordered one pint and one 'small' coke. The coke was - no joke - no more than 1/4 pint. At most. I estimate it was actually less than that (and as I work with precise volumes every day in my lab I'm not prone to making mistakes with such estimations). And that cost just shy of £9. Taking the michael would be a gross understatement.

Very nice traditional English Pub. Cozy and clean. Very much enjoyed the mulled wine on a cold December day. Does bar snacks, no food menu.

Great Pub. Cool staff. Kicking atmosphere. My go to for a beer after work when I'm working in Holborn.

Always a good place for a drink after work. Good service and very convenient location because of easy transportation nearby.

A warm welcoming pub, a bit pricey, a pint of lager and half a cider was a shade under £10. Only a few people when we were there. I guess most people use wetherspoons these days which is understandable.
