If you're looking for friendly efficient service and quiet rooms, I'd advise you to look elsewhere. I had just been to a funeral and wanted to check in, before the wake. The wifi was down and the receptionist didn't know what to do. I ended up waiting 20 minutes and was late. The room was freezing and I was told to switch on the heater at the wall. When I came back, 4 hours later, the room was like a sauna. I had to open the windows. It was at this point that I realised that the hotel is on the main (drag) strip in Coalville. Upon going for a shower in the morning, I noticed that the bathroom heater didn't work and it was very uncomfortable. All in all, I would only book there again, if all other hotels were full.
This is a great little independent hotel which I used when clubbing at the nearby Emporium nightclub. The hotel's front is an Indian restaurant which is open until 11PM. After the 11PM 'curfew', you can still enter the rooms via a side door with the keyfob that is issued to you + the key to your room. Very friendly staff/service. My room was clean and warm, The only downside really was the lack of a desk for placing my laptop on but otherwise pretty decent.

Great value for money but could of been a bit more clean mainly carpet was quite dirty but very welcome staff and great location.
I stayed at the Hotel for 3 weeks. On my first day of arrival which was a Sunday I was met by a receptionist who was a little argumentative. During my last week I stayed in room 6 and was horrified to find that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest and were smeared in blood. The receptionist who was in attendance during the rest of my time there was extremely pleasant. Finally, it would be a good idea if the staff were taught to make beds
