Good selection of beers and friendly service. Could do with a bit of tlc but arguably that is part of the charm. Toilets just need a bit of investment. Nice ambience though and remember it also has gigs so worth checking their schedule.

Great venue for live music, staff were very professional & very friendly, I would definitely recommend the Old Hairdresser's for a good night out.
Scotland doesn't have "dive bars" or "ruin bars" but if it did then Old Hairdresser's would be one. Barely decorated Bohemian look and graffitied toilets adds to the charm of one of Glasgow's trendiest bars. A decent selection of draft beers at decent price makes this a decent bar, although the high ceiling can make it chilly in the winter
An excellent almost hidden small venue for musicians. We watched Martin Steuber playing guitar in March 2022. Fabulous.

We opened in October 1999. Under the leadership of legendary publican Colin Barr and now managed by son, Joshua, the family run Bier Halle has developed into a Glasgow institution securing its position as one of the most popular bars in Glasgow.
