Great games pub with pool table and dart boards. Nice welcoming atmosphere. Worth a drop in.
Basic pub, basic everything but OK. The one thing that is a real issue is the lighting at the back of the pub up the steps to the rear car park. Uneven and poorly lit.. an accident waiting to happen.
I have attended twice as part of a large walking/ dog walking group. We were given the back room on both occasions , which was perfect as we were wet and muddy. Limited menu, I had scampi and ships on both occasions . Huge portion, well cooked. Bargain price of £5.50. I hasten to add that on the second occasion , we only booked in with three hours notice and Matt was able to accommodate us
