5 stars given not for outstanding quality in any area, but more for the fact I couldn't fault it. Held an impromptu party for my brother here. Staff were nice, venue was as you'd expect , clean, quiet and warm. Was nice that such an establishment also allowed me to bring the kids along as we were seperate from the main hall. I haven't been here for 30 years as everyone I know thought it had closed when the bar downstairs closed down. Very happy we were wrong and will be getting my membership back! Lovely way to spend a quiet afternoon playing pool with a casual drink and some nibbles.
This is an amazing pool and snooker club. The tables are top quality and well-maintained. The staff are always friendly and the overall atmosphere is great for a club. Best of all the beer is top quality and always tastes fresh!
Snooker tables are in excellent condition. A little pricey as for 2 non members and 2 hour snooker session cost me £19 in total.
No stars for food only because I've not eaten there, the pool tables are fantastic and this is now my go to place for 8 ball. 2 and 3 hour deals are great value for money if you're a quick player.
Nice to pay a fair rate per hour rather than coin slots. Match balls and good quality tables. Score cards there to keep score when playing friends. Great for practice
