Originally the Railway Hotel, this is now the only pub in the centre of the village. It is a traditional 2 bar pub with a pool table and TV (which shows many sporting events) in the public bar and comfortable seating in the lounge.
Always a great welcome, well kept beer and a great atmosphere. Proper old fashioned pub in all the right ways.
This is a bad pub. Do not waste your time. Or money. They also run a parking scam. Shameful people.
Wow what a place! Great atmosphere and loads of fun. Because I'm from Southampton they gave me an extra special warm welcome. Looking forward to the next time I can be there!
Has to be the worst pub in the UK very rude people they appear to be open but when they’re not then I find you for parking in the car park food is overpriced. The place is not clean and most of the locals avoid it except for the plug-ins. They have a new carpark thing in place which has signs that aren't that obvious at night. If you don't input your registration within the pub you get an £85 fine, no one in the pub informed us of this new rule either. Won't be going here again, greed really does run the world these days
