OCCUPYING A STUNNING LOCATION RIGHT ON THE BEACH AT HAYLING ISLAND
The Inn on the Beach is the perfect destination on warm summer days or a warm, cosy place to relax during the winter months. With more open space than ever and the new conservatory overlooking the Solent, the Inn on the Beach is a great place to unwind, enjoy fantastic sea views and catch the ever-changing sunset.
Disappointing visit today, food mainly as we ordered the lunch specials (burger and chips and fish finger sandwich) Burger had no onions or salad and the bun wasn’t fresh. Poor presentation too. Fish finger sandwich- bread wasn’t fresh. No side salad and batter wasn’t cooked enough. Need to improve
Dog friendly with great views over the sea. A blustery winters day with big waves and so cosy inside watching the sea. Car park directly outside was a bonus. Will be back.
Other than one other table we ordered food Very slow service, food terrible not worth the cost. Looks like a lovely place for the summer for drinks but the food is not worth your hard earned money. Pay for car park but you can redeem this back
Great views of the beach and sea. Dog friendly. Food was tasty. We had the small platters. Yum! We visited in December for this meal. But usually come in summer. Good beer and battered squid.
The wife reserved a place here for dinner tonight and I can honestly say this has been the best thing about Hayling island. There for was lovely. Lucas and I had the cheeseburger and the wife had something vegan friendly (I lost interest at that point but she’s loved it). But the thing that set it aside was the incredibly welcoming and friendly staff, which truly are a credit to the business. Can’t say we’d be back to Hayling Island again, but if we did, we’d be back. Only downside was visiting in October. I bet I’d be ace to cool for the evening in summer. Loved the music too.
