Please don’t even try this place unless you have more money than sense. I’ll start with the positive- the decor is nice and relaxing but that’s where it ends! This place is sooooo overpriced, you walk in and think you are going to get a fancy meal. The place would be acceptable if the standard of food matched the menu price but it was super underwhelming. First of all, they bring your cutlery in a cheap plastic pint glass with the cheapest napkins available and fresh wipes borrowed from KFc. The starters were bland and the main course comes on its own and a side of chips can set you back up to £5 if you want the smallest amount of cheese on them. A side order of green beans is £4.50!!! GREEN BEANS?! REALLY? The ribs are dry and not what you expect, a main meal will cost around £15 and that’s without a side… just on it own!! Honestly for that price you would expect the quality of food to be exceptional but we would have enjoyed a spoons burger more. The drinks were also very expensive. Service was quick enough but they sneaked an extra 10% on the bill and yes, our waitress bought us food and drink over but there was no chat, no recommendations from the menu and just did the bare minimum really to call it service. Sadly it’s just not value for money which was a massive shame.
Really like this place. Very good delicious breakfast. Nicely priced. Staff were very friendly and provided really good service. Will certainly come back here again.
Food was okay, there was a very long wait to get seated which is fine. However, it took our waitress another 20 minutes to get to our table to order drinks and then nearly an hour to receive our food. The burger was mediocre and the mac and cheese was terribly seasoned. The only thing I enjoyed was ketchup and chips. I don’t think a dinner rush is excuse to lack in service and quality.
Really loved the grilled chicken kebabs. However the chicken eldorada I ate had more tortilla chips than the chicken which was a little disappointing for the price I paid for it. The dessert was really great as well. Otherwise, the staff and food were really great.
A fantastic example of the chain. The staff are always very polite, friendly and attentive even if they are a little rushed ...this place is always busy tho so I can forgive that. Drinks orders are usually a little slow to arrive which can get frustrating, but food is prompt and always to a good standard. The steaks arrive cooked as ordered and if you're not going for the steak the waiting staff are always happy help with a recommendation and a bit of advice. Topping it off is the patio setting out the front with a wonderful view of often bustling courtyard. Expect to spend £15-25 per person for a main and a drink depending on your menu choices.
