We are local family run village pub located in Shurdington between Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud. Named after the "World Famous" Cooper's Hill Cheese Rolling and Wake event which takes place on the Spring Bank Holiday just down the road.
We serve great Great British pub grub as well as Pizzas. Our bar offers at least two Cask Ales, along side a range of Lagers, Ciders, Wines and Spirits; We are family friendly and dog friendly with a large beer garden at the rear and a car park behind the pub for 30 cars.

We really like the cheeserollers! The team do an amazing job making everyone feel welcome. The food tastes good and portion sizes are brill. I especially like the Sunday roasts! They’ve had some really well run family fun days that my toddler loves.
Came for the feed the family for £20 night. Had the steak and ale pie. Was really nice food and a decent portion size. Wifebhad the same and the kids had sausage and chips and burger and chips which they both enjoyed. Will definitely be back. Thanks guy.

This is a nice place situated on the main Road on the A46 between Gloucester and Cheltenham. Also bring some you from Stroud, Brockworth.. There is plenty of parking at the back of the place the road to carpark is bit tight but is ok. There is plenty of seating inside and outside with a lovely big garden and big enough play area for children.. Inside is really lovely clean and tidy, nicely decorated.. Staff friendly and welcoming. Dogs are welcome and even have treats on bar.. There is a pool table. We didn't have food. This is convenient for a nice stop and reasonably priced.. Definitely go again and recommend
Lovely staff, but the place seemed a little bit run down from when I used to visit years ago. The pub seems to be going through a transitional period, as they were advertising for a new Publican. Nice garden to rear of the pub &;good sized garden.
