The Kings Arms has been awarded CAMRA recognition since 2013 onwards and Cask Marque accreditation since 2011 for our real Ale serving 5 real Ales (inc 2/3 guests sourced from micro breweries across the U.K.). Also there is a wide range of spirits, several artisan Gins and a wide selection of Scottish single malt Whiskys and Irish Whiskeys.
A large function room is available for various functions ranging from informal get togethers, society meetings, AGM meetings, Family Parties (christenings, Birthday parties, Wakes) large lunches and dinners catering upto 30 people or buffets to cater up to 60.
We also pride ourselves on allowing local societies and groups to use our side rooms (privately during the week at no cost).

Great traditional English pub with good beer, nice to see there are some still left.
Good place to drink a beer, the waitress is told you in every moment what happened or if she needs to up stairs to the kitchen.
Really enjoyed a leisurely lunchtime visit to this old Saffron Walden pub. It wasn't busy when we were there but it must be a popular place judging from the excellent range of beers and pub grub menu. I had a half pounder burger 🍔 which was so delicious that I sent my congratulations to the chef for producing the best burger that I remember eating! Well worth a visit and located just off the market place.
Wonderful food and really calm place . The best fresh and well done cod fish I have eaten so far. 😍
A little boozer just off the market square. It's quite small, so feels busy even when there's not all that many punters in. The burgers were decent enough, and there's a good selection of drinks. Bar staff seemed a bit confused, but service was ok. We didn't try the beer garden on account of the weather, but it's great that they have one! Don't expect the Ritz but it's not a bad old pub at all.
