Arrived around 4pm Wednesday, so it was quiet with few customers. Service was good, server friendly and efficient. Food was mostly good. We (party of three) all had steaks. They were cooked well, as asked for. Food arrived hot and was tasty. Free, serve yourself salad was a bit dehydrated and somewhat tasteless but the addition of various sauces helped. Average cost of £25-£30 per head, without alcohol and only one course each. Total bill for one starter, three steaks dinners, two coffees and two soft drinks was £90. Overall, good family restaurant, wide ranging menu with a mid price range.
Pleasant atmosphere and ambience. A very homely and cosy place. .Food was very nice and tasty with bar and take away option. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, ample car parking.
Rashed, our server was excellent and the food was tasty too. My favourite it the salad which was fresh and delicious 😋 Thank You.
The meeter and greeter was polite and courteous and being as I have a walking aid he was courteous enough to ask if the seating area was comfortable. Our hostess was absolutely lovely and extremely attentive. The food was lovely. Salad bar clean and well stocked too.
The Harvester is one of those places that looks alright and does the job but is hardly going to wow. I'll start with the positive for our booking. First and foremost, the staff are wonderful. Friendly, helpful and great with young kids. The restaurant is easy to find, has ample parking on site which is free once registering your reg in the terminal. The decor is in good order and feels clean and there is plenty of space for large groups, of which we had. The food is where things slide a little. It's not all bad, just very inconsistent. For instance the burgers were rock hard and quite tasteless. It felt like they were bought frozen in bulk and reheated. Same for the veg, it didn't taste fresh and the jacket potato I suspect just microwaved. On the other hand the steak was surprisingly good. Not too much fat and having asked for a medium, I got just that. All in all, if you don't go in with high expectations for the food then you're going to be fine. The service is good and for a meal where there are a lot of you including noisy kids, it's a decent option.
