Lovely! Had some hours to spare before catching my train and chose to dine in. Staff were friendly, and the service was great. The restroom was a bit messy. It could be better...not sure if it was because it was a peak period.
It's hard to work out whether this place is badly ran or it's the people who frequent it that drive the staff morale down by clientèle unable able to eat their food without spilling it all over the table and floor. Now I know the average teeth to mouth ratio in Harlow is lower than the national average, but come on, there was more mashed potato than carpet on the floor last night, no need for it. To marks for changing the TV channel for me to enjoy the footy. 🦓
Excellent evening. Very busy due to 50% promo. Staff very friendly and engaging even though they were run ragged. The only thing I have always thought would be nice, is to have a high speed microwave just to give a boost to the food temperature after spending time filling the plate and some foods getting a bit cool. Otherwise fantastic and thank you.
Good food. I asked if there was wheat in the gravy. The waitress found out the ingredients of the regular and vegetarian gravy. The veggie gravy was wheat free which is fine with me and saved me a horrible fit of gastric symptoms. Wheat hidden in saices makes me ill. The waitress was great. The server was very efficient and helpful. The restaurant was clean. Slight odour in the Ladies loo. Had a nice cappuccino for dessert. Parking was OK. You need the Pay by Phone parking app and it was £2.40 for a set period of 4 hours.
