The Inn was originally called Lambs' Green Farm, and was used to raise pigs, poultry, dairy cattle and sheep. The land was farmed until the 1980's when it was sold, becoming the Lambs' Green Inn. We maintain the original style and identity, helping to create a traditional atmosphere to relax, drink and dine.

We had to be seated somewhere else as the people on our table still hadn’t left. We had to sit in the bar area which was okay but a little draughty. It was very busy so had to wait a while to be served by a waitress We ordered the trio of meats Sunday roast and oh my God it was well worth the wait Everything was delicious the only quibble I would have is that our pigs in blankets were quite overdone quite burnt (we still ate them) We then moved on to the pudding menu we had the treacle sponge and the apple crumble both were absolutely amazing the custard could be a bit hotter as it was lukewarm. But overall I really really enjoyed coming here and will definitely be coming again..many thanks x
Sharon the server gives exceptional service every time we come. She makes sure I use the best offers on my app, calculating which will save more. She kept us updated on progress of food and checked we were OK. Her customer service was excellent. We love visiting on Wednesdays to see Sharon. Food as usual was very good quality and arrived hot.
We come here every few months for a meal and we're always impressed. The food today was lovely, comes in huge portions. None of us felt like we had room for pudding and yet the menu looked so good we all ordered something! Sharon, our waitress, was super friendly and very good at her job. We'll be back again soon.

Welcome was swift and friendly, seated then given a moment before we were asked about drinks. Food ordered beef rib & signature burger, both were timely to arrive, and very tasty we both enjoyed our mains the onion rings were amazing. The beef rib very tender and veg beautifully done. We both had dessert, which was well presented and extremely nice. Top marks, look forward to coming back.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Lambs Green Inn with my wife and toddler. The moment we walked in, we were immediately enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The dining room was decorated in a traditional style, with exposed beams and wooden furniture. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and we were quickly seated at a table. Our waiter, a young woman who was particularly attentive and knowledgeable, took the time to explain each dish to us and make sure that we ordered what we would enjoy. She also made sure that our glasses were always full and even went out of her way to make my toddler feel welcome, engaging him in conversation and listening to his stories about his holiday so far. The food was simply incredible. I had the ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfection as suggested by our waiter, who definitely knew her steaks. It was so tender that it melted in my mouth. The accompanying vegetables were also cooked perfectly and seasoned well. My toddler had the chicken and chips, which he devoured. He cleaned his plate and said he enjoyed everything Overall, we had a truly magical dining experience at the Lambs Green Inn. The food was incredible, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special dining experience. I was particularly touched by the way that our waiter interacted with my toddler. She spoke to him as if he was a valued customer in himself, which doesn't happen at all restaurants, and he clearly felt comfortable and at ease with her. It was clear that she loved her job and took pride in providing excellent customer service. I would highly recommend the Lambs Green Inn to anyone looking for a special dining experience. It is a truly magical place where you can enjoy delicious food, outstanding service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was also very exciting to find Tank Tolman's twin working here
