About us

Welcome to the Boringdon Arms

We are an 18th Century traditional, family friendly and dog friendly pub. Please note dogs must be on leads at all times. We are located in the picturesque waterside village of Turnchapel in Plymouth. We offer great value, home-cooked food and also have two secluded beer gardens to the rear of the property. There is also free WiFi throughout the premises. We are located on the South West Coastal Path and are the perfect place to stop off whilst walking or cycling through.

At the Boringdon Arms, we welcome loyal locals, along with visitors from further afield, serving a variety of beverages including 5 Real Ales with a weekly rotating Guest Ale. We also serve traditional Beer and Cider too. We have a wide range of 37 different Gins accompanied with 9 varieties of Fever-Tree Tonics, excellent for those wishing to experiment with a different taste.

Our Opening hours are as follows… 12PM – 11PM Monday – Thursday, 12PM – 12AM Friday's & Saturday's and 12PM – 10:30PM on Sunday’s.

Our Food Service hours are as follows... 12PM - 3PM & 6PM – 9PM Monday – Saturday and 12PM - 3PM on Sunday's. We encourage anyone looking to eat with us to book a table as we do get rather busy in the evenings and over the weekends. We operate on a first come, first served basis for walk-ins and tables outside.

If you would like to enquire about any future bookings please contact us on 01752 402053 or email boringdonarmsinfo@gmail.com.

Response time may be slightly longer than usual, but we will try and get back to you as soon as we can.

With a warm, welcoming environment, there is no better place to get a feel for what a historic village pub should feel like.

Greg, Sue & their team look forward to welcoming you soon!.

We just had an awesome Sunday lunch here. The roast meals were real home cooked and full of flavour. Followed by great desserts. Service and the beers were spot on as well. We will definitely be back !!

Charming pub in a quiet corner of town, well worth a visit. Good range of beers, good menu with a good variety of specials. If the weather is right the beer garden is a real highlight

Very good, Pub food . Polite friendly staff . Reasonable price Good selection of drinks. The reason it didn't get all 5 stars , it's Dog friendly , sorry dog lovers , but if you can't control the animal, stay away from Public eating places . At this point I should mention the evening was spent with friends, with 2 very well behaved dogs. Woof woof
