Proper pub, spoilt for choice with ciders. Good atmosphere. A must when in Newton Abbott if you like cider
There are so few true cider bars left in the country and this is one of them. It isn't fancy but it is honest and serves a great selection of ciders. They also serve genuine, traditional bar snacks (cheese and onion rolls, pickled eggs etc).
Sells Stan's Cheddar Valley, an excellent non-alcoholic cider from Thatchers and delicious baguettes.
LOVE THIS PLACE 💙💙💙💙💙 Staff great,nice choice is Diesel, shame about suicider, dogs welcome & rolls to die for 👍🏻 always pop in when we come up from Plymouth.
Original building 1931.. Really interesting old cider bar Got to chat with some of the regulars Told me stories about some of the old locals in the photo pictures on the walls . Sampled some of the the cider:) Recommend you take a look..
