Had a whole hour to kill so I popped in for an evening meal. Food arrived good and hot very quickly. Staff are friendly and helpful and the price was very reasonable. Place is child friendly and the pub presented with a happy atmosphere.
It's well located near the town centre and mojor shops! Lovely and welcoming staff during our visit It's a popular place with the locals Food is average, but it's good value for a quick lunch
Good food, good service but a little cramped
The brie bites were really good and the food was hot. Apart from that tho, the rest of the food was tasteless and my husband's steak and ale pie was really chewy. We only ate part of it because we were so hungry. Pretty much £14 per main for tasteless and chewy food. Very disappointed with that. However, the staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. If it was based on staff alone then I would go back there all the time and highly recommend. So if it's just a drink your after then definitely visit. If it's food you're after then I recommend finding somewhere else.
