Having visited a few Harvesters over the years and never been blown away, I had low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Walked in the door to a very clean, warm and welcoming. We were a party of 5 and although the restaurant was fairly busy the staff were very attentive and the food was served hot. When finished in the restaurant we moved through to the bar area and continued drinking and enjoying each other's company. Very well done, we would be more than happy to go back and recommend them to others.
The setting was fabulous and we had a lovely view of the river from our table. The staff were lovely. The salad bar was fresh and well stocked. Great to see Lurpak with the bread rolls. The menu had good variety and the food was tasty and hot. The portions were a reasonable size. Also the facilities were well appointed and clean. On the downside, I had a rump steak which was all gristle and connective tissue making it largely inedible. The situation was dealt with professionally to my satisfaction.
Our waiter Damion was extremely polite, friendly and professional, anticipating our requirements and making excellent recommendations. The dishes served looked and tasted delicious, already looking forward to a return visit. 💯
Amazing food and even better service today. Chicken skewers were the best I've had. Husband loved his burger. Really patient and competent server. Super helpful when my son was poorly (even packed up their food to takeaway) . Thanks Damien! Used a voucher with ease. Came here for my work do in Dec and really enjoyed that too. Thanks to all.
Such a wonderful location, alone side the river! Beautiful boats on bay, giving the outdoor seating that extra touch of elegance! Plenty indoor and outdoor seating, and decent car park size. Family friendly and have amazing food. I had fish and chips, with a bottomless drink and unlimited salad bowl. All the staff were very nice and smiling as they speak to you.
