Stopped by for Sunday lunch: it was okay - enjoyed the nice starters and a solid burger. Overall, a decent spot for a casual meal.
We got married at the Mill House on the 2nd Dec and it was the best day of our lives. Not only did the venue look like a winter wonderland, the staff m ensured the day ran smoothly and seamlessly. Thank you Mark for being so fantastic as our master of ceremony, Kim and Emma for working so hard to get everything right and all the fab bar and hospitality staff. If you book for your wedding you will not be sorry, cannot recommend them enough!
We recently got married at The Mill House and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish! The team couldn’t be more helpful during the planning and on the day they got everything spot on! The food, service and staff were brilliant for the entire weekend and the whole experience was enjoyed fully by our guests, we all had a wonderful weekend! Highly recommend
It was a very nice venue, had a lovely time. Nice sleep and comfortable bed. I found the breakfast a little lacking, nice but lacking. No fresh fruit for example. They also had a very lack luster beer selection
We can thoroughly recommend The Mill House Swallowfield, as a fantastic marriage venue. The venue is full of character, with very well kept gardens, which provide lots of great photo opportunities. The marquee provides the perfect space for the wedding breakfast and evening disco. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond from planning every detail of the great day with you, and on the day they discretely lead you through each part, from the ceremony, the wedding breakfast to the cutting of the cake. We wish to thank the following members of The Mill House team for making our wedding a very special and memorable day. Mark, our master of ceremonies Kim, Kate, Emma and Chris, who helped plan, prepare and lead us through the day. Stewart our DJ for providing music for all the age groups who attended our wedding.
