Went for a family meetup, including 2 children. Excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff. Kids loved the play area: climbing "fort", swings, big open space to run around. A bit out of the way, but worth the effort. Would go again.
We were a group of nine most of us had three courses and everyone said the food was excellent, we could not fault anything. The staff were very attentive and we were really made to feel welcome. We will definitely return.

Lovely place. Obviously very popular, as constant stream of customers. Food was great, tasty, hot, good portions. Very nice. Wish I lived closer and could go again.
Stopped by for lunch and had one of the best beef and ale pies in years. Generous amount of beef, deliciously seasoned. Only thing that I'd suggest improving is the mash potato, mine was dry and not appetising. My friend ordered hers with chips and they were delicious. We loved the option of "mini" desserts which were a good portion after such a filling and delicious meal. Our dogs received a wonderful welcome, which goes a long way as a pet owner to feel you're not a nuisance or excentric for bringing your dogs along. Would highly recommend
