We are regulars at The Ferry especially on a Sunday. Today after a long break I visited the ferry again and it was a superb dinning experience. The new manager is very welcoming and attentive and the food is simply delicious.
Me and my sister on 16th Dec had the Festive Menu , We stayed downstairs, I had Spiced carrot & coriander soup to start, It was lovely, I then had the Turkey Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings, The turkey was so beautiful and soft and the veg and potatoes were excellent, I Finnished with Christmas pudding with brandy cream, Delightful.. My sister had for dessert cheesecake but with a twist..The Festive Meal is £33 per person (Dec 2023 prices) .. The staff were fantastic, Caitlin, Yuli plus jaymi were so helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere is great, Very relaxed , With great views towards the Thames.. Definitely will be back again..
Delicious roast dinner - very generous with plenty of gravy. Loved the Amalfi spritz mocktail. And big thank you to Caitlin and Eva for great service and for my lovely birthday desert.
Recommended by friends to visit. Fantastic warm atmosphere no matter what level you sit on. Staff are so friendly, professional, and relaxed, which adds to the overall experience. Food cooked to perfection, and the presentation does not disappoint. The menu has a good choice to suit everyone. There is a car park. You will not be disappointed!
Lovely pub by the Thames. Great food, I had the Sweet Potato Massaman Curry it was a little spicy but delicious followed by the trio of cheesecakes which was lovely 3 different flavour cheesecake balls. Would definitely recommend. We were served by Stacey and Charlotte and the service was excellent. Good menu with lots of choice. Sign up to the newsletter and you can get a free starter or dessert on your first visit. Just by the bridge at Cookham with a good sized car park. Will definitely return.
