14/06/2018 World Cup 2018 (until 15/07/2018) — The 2018 World Cup kicks off on Thursday 14th June, and we're all set to welcome you and your friends to enjoy the action. We've got ice cold pitchers of Foster's and Amstel at the ready, so less trips to the bar means more time to watch the match. There really is no better place to watch this summer's biggest sporting event. We're ready, are you? View event

    — Food delivered to the table was better than the pictures in the menu, which is the opposite of what you usually find. Food we had was very good, fresh, plentiful and well cooked. Also had a very good pint of Ale. After our first positive experience we booked in for sunday lunch which was the best carvery i think we have eaten in a pub, almost as good as a home made roast dinner. We were well looked after and we look forward to going there again adn heartily recommend others to give it a try.

    — Recommended by our son in 2010, been regulars since. Lovely owners and staff really helpful whenever you go. My food choices are difficult, but they will change anything to suit me,haven't found this in pubs in the past. Not had one bad meal here. Christmas lunch was fabulous and really reasonable. (Will be there again 2013 without a doubt.)Sunday cavery excellent home cooking, hot, with good choices of meats, veg, potatoes etc., In my opinion you will be 'hard pushed' to find a better pub with a more friendly atmosphere. We are treated as part of the family and on our very first visit we were made to feel comfortable and at ease. Would recommend to anyone..
