    — Built from the ashes of the great fire of London and one of the first buildings built in St James's, it was originally christened 'The Mason Arms'. A haven for Caledonian aficionados from the South, you can usually find more than one offering on cask from the Scottish brewer. Friendly staff serve traditional pub dishes from fish & chips to 'Roast of the Day', a meal is worth ordering simply to watch the charming rope-powered dumb waiter bring it up to you.
