useyourlocal.com teams up with Samsung and FourFourTwo

UseYourLocal has teamed up with FourFourTwo, the UK's leading football magazine with over 550k readers a month and Samsung, the world's biggest TV manufacturer, to show UK consumers where they can watch live football in a local pub.

Samsung have relaunched their brilliant football website www.samsungfootball.co.uk and we're powering their postcode search so people can easily find a pub in the locality that is showing televised matches.

Announcing the new tie up, Stuart Mills, founder of useyourlocal.com said: "It may be stating the obvious, but research shows that most people prefer watching the match with their mates in the pub, home or away."

"This is great news for all outlets that show live sport and great news for football fans looking for somewhere to watch the big game. A simple soultion to an annoyingly simple problem."

Martin Hill, publican of The Black Horse in the Bristol suburb of Kingswood, has already started seeing the benefits of being a UseYourLocal registered pub.
"I joined at the beginning of the summer and it has been a real success," says Martin. "I advertise the service with the simple table-talkers and I have been very pleased with the response. The website also gives me my own page which is really useful for keeping customers informed of what's going on at the pub."
Martin's customers are also enjoying being able to get their parcels delivered to their favourite local and have also been taking the opportunity to have a quick pint when the collect them by the look of things!
