Located within High Gosforth Park, Newcastle Racecourse is home to the historic Northumberland Plate, and is one of Britain’s busiest racecourses, hosting over 60 all-weather and jumps fixtures a year. An ideal venue for all occasions, the racecourse can host events of all kinds, including conferences, exhibitions, weddings, private parties and more. The racecourse shares High Gosforth Park with the Border Minstrel Pub and Parklands Golf Club.

Living North Christmas event , well organised even the parking guides in the rain with the car park places swamped. Entry was quick and the layout much better than years ago (just tables hardly separated). Great choice with local and national produce in one place.

Great little course with a good bar and food available. I think we picked the wrong time to visit as Newcastle United were on TV in the Champions League the same night. But it didn't stop us enjoying our pre-planned visit while enjoying a stay in Newcastle.

Good family afternoon and early evening out. Baby loved watching the horses parade around the paddock. Would recommend the family race meet here. Will return 👌 5stars.

We attended the race course for the NWG Inovation festival. Great event, well set out and planned. The buildings were clean and tidy, with the cleaning staff constantly on the good. Fish and chips for dinner, lovely sized portions. However, the cod wasn't particularly tasty.
