We chose the Mustard Pot for a joint birthday Sunday dinner and honestly it couldn't have been any better. Jodie and Mike were very understanding with last minute change in numbers and orders, and made sure we were all sat together. The food was delicious, the service was great, the venue is awesome, 10 out of 10!!
Visited here yesterday with a group for a nutritional wellness talk, after which we stayed for lunch. We'd arranged to go to get drinks before the chat and had to wait quite a while as the bar man just disappeared which wasn't great, I believe it to be the same man that eventually took our order later on for lunch and twice tried to change my mind on what I'd ordered on the basis his suggestion would be "better for me." Appreciate he probably thought he was being helpful knowing what we'd been there for but it was quite annoying and I just wanted what I'd requested, got the cheese and onion toastie with oregano parmesan fries which was quite nice. Loved all the decorations and prints on the walls etc it's a nice cosy pub and reasonably priced, it was just the wait times and feeling a bit judged that impacted my experience. The young guy that I paid for my order at the bar with was friendly and I'd taken a brownie home for me and my friend which was enjoyed :)
Lovely pub! Has gotten even better since the new landlady has come on board. Absolutely perfect for families. Food is delicious and service always impeccable.
Lovely pub with a nice heated outdoor area. Accomodated a large group at late notice for a Sunday lunch. Friendly staff and good service. Only conplaint would be the portion size, thought my fish & chips was a kids portion and not worth the price unfortunately
Booked ad hoc for a party of 8 including 4 children - food was amazing, service was brilliant, kids play area inside and out. Literally cannot recommend a more family friendly pub. Our waitress was Abby who was hilarious and very good at her job. I love a waitress or waiter that I can connect with and more importantly the kids can’t connect with, and that was Abby. Icing on the cake was the packaged sweets available to buy . Thank you so much team Xxxx
