O'Learys bar (formally jazz bar) is a large impressive bar in a former bank. There is a wide choice of beers lagers and fruit ciders put sadly no cask conditioned Real ale. There is a really nice outside seating area for summer, and sometimes live music. They have recently started serving food although I haven't tried it yet.
Small blond girl behind the bar was really rude. Asked me to turn my phone down whilst I was watching a video on my phone!!! She said people were watching the adverts !!! Wasn't loud at all !! obviously she needs an early night. Miserable
Good place to visit on a night out, great music, and beer.
The bar has recently started serving food and I must say it was delicious. I had the large fish and chips.
A bit dated, but had live music. Lacked atmosphere with a few poeple in Thursday before 10pm. It was a rainy day. Enjoyed the 8 yr Bacardi with one cube of ice. Toilets down steps. Females down and up stairs.
