About us

We have three bars, a restaurant, a dining room/function room on the first floor, and a large garden area out the back.

Thai food is served Monday to Saturday 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 10pm, and on Sundays we serve a traditional Sunday Carvery between 12pm and 6pm.

We have the full sky sports package which also includes ESPN and at the races.

All of the rooms are en-suite with tea and coffee facilities, flat screen TV's and newly re-furbished. We serve a continental breakfast between 7am and 10am.

Review is for the Thai restaurant at the foresters. Food was great. Coffee was not great, bitter and from a machine, but most aren't there for the coffee, all in all a good pub Thai meal.

Brilliant roast, good selection of beers and friendly staff. They provided a private room for 10 couples and baby’s, and made it a very pleasant and enjoyable day.

Awesome pub, great Thai food and the beer garden is very useable. Have kids? Bring them, it's a family friendly pub. It has sports on tv, lots of seating inside and outside including heaters. It's been through a refurb recently, so if youve visited previously, give it another go.

Stopped here for a drink whilst we were on a walk on a weekday afternoon. It was not busy when we were there but I can imagine that on the weekends it's packed as they have a lot of outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating is really great, definitely recommend it, and most of the seating is in the shade so on a sunny day you can enjoy the sunshine but not get burnt. We didn't have anything to eat but the Thai food on offer looks decent enough for us to come back next time to try. Service was fine.

We had a great evening last weekend at The Forester, enjoying great beer and wonderful Thai food. The staff provided great friendly service and the food was of a really good standard and good value for money. If you are ever in the area we recommend dropping in checking it out. Also has a wonderful beer garden out the back.
