While there are definitely bigger beer gardens to be found in the capital, the outdoor space at this well-loved, ivy-covered local is certainly one of the cleverest. Faced with the difficulty of only having a small yard, the owners built upwards โ creating a tiered village from decking, with room on the various split levels for several tables. Itโs an early-afternoon suntrap in which to sip a cold lager from a mainstream bar that includes the likes of Amstel, Heineken and Leffe. In keeping with the exotic-themed surrounds, the cooking (from the indoor kitchen, served in the evening only) is of the Thai variety:โthink stir-fries, curries and noodles.

Cosy sports pub with a surprisingly authentic Thai food offering ๐ menu is limited but well executed ๐
Had only ever come here for drinks but after hearing so many good things about the food here, I had to try it! It was surprisingly good and the portions were great too. We ordered the prawn pad Thai (a good benchmark), and green curry. Both were really scrumptious but I have to say, the curry was my favourite!!! It was super creamy and had a really nice kick to it.
Lovely old fashionrd pub near Finsbury park tube station with unique decore and an amazing internal garden.
Such an HORRIBLE experience, we came from far away because a friend of mine recommended as they are "dog friendly", but once inside a security approach aggressively to us saying "you cannot stay here with that dog" when inside already saw two other dogs, why other dogs are allowed but mine not? Because is a bit bigger than the others? I felt very discriminated, because in the website say they are dog friendly, but is just A LIE, they are dog friendly when is convenient for them and when they want. One of the security offered me to take a plastic glass to drink outside, are you for real? Under the rain?!!! Even have been mentioned that the owner has two dogs, if you have dogs you should emphasize more with dog owners. Please do the favour to update the website as you are NOT DOG FRIENDLY. I will never come back, if I could I would rate 0 stars. Now I'm enjoying a nice service in somewhere else that is dog friendly for real.
Reasonably priced pints and fantastic thai food! I was also impressed by the layout of the beer garden, great way to maximise space and despite looking quite intimidating, is actually super easy to navigate!
