We have just visited as a group from neighbouring buisness, as a group of 11 people. The food was outstanding and exceptional service from Wayne. Thank you Wayne for a delicious lunch and hospitality.
This was my first visit to this bar it is very deceiving, it is much larger inside than it looks from the outside it is very nice inside, well presented and very clean with a nice friendly atmosphere, the drinks are not the cheapest. However, that applies to most of the bars in Durham.
Nice food did a takeaway stotty for my dad. Staff are friendly make sure you are never thirsty. Would recommend, this place has never changed.
Stayed for only one night but wipo definitely be longer next time. Lovely friendly place, staff lovely, food exceptional, absolutely gorgeous and all home cooked. Very clean and easy walking distance of lovely city centre. Definitely recommend this place.
Did not stay in a room. We just popped in for food on a recommendation. Staff were attentive and very friendly. The inside was very clean and tastefully decorated. Service was friendly and efficient, and the choice of food had something to suit the majority of tastes. We opted for garlic mushrooms and the garlic ciabatta and mains of surf n turf hanging skewer and the steak stroganoff. All were hot, well presented, and tasted beautiful. Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert but will return to try. A button bursting afternoon out.
