Good food, nice pub and outside area with a decent selection of drinks, bottled and on tap. Have been here with work colleagues and with friends, mainly for drinks so knowledge of the food / carvery is limited, but I know it is a decent sized menu and they offer a carvery which other customers have recommended to me before. A nice pub to have in the local area. Would recommend and return.
First time here for Christmas Dinner very impressed no skimpy portions Starters Mains and Dessert all well presented thank you to the Chefs kitchen staff waiting staff who all made it a great experience Will certainly be back! Happy Christmas to all & a Successful 2024! Anne Bolton & Family
Had the carvery which was very tasty. However, the roast potatoes weren't crispy and it was all a little cold. It may have helped if the plates had been warmed up. The desserts, ie: crumble and strudel were not very nice as they seemed like they had been warmed up in the microwave so didn't have the right texture. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I would go back and try it again, perhaps at a busier time when everything is fresher.
What a super little find. Great carvery good selection of meats and veg and sides that have been given just the right amount of love and care to bring you delicious food. Came for the free film night and thought we would grab a meal before and very pleasantly surprised. Puddings were delicious and homely. Staff really went the extra mile to ensure a good experience.
Nice decor here. We ordered from the new menu which was a little pricey. I chose the beef ciabatta, the filling was tasty but the ciabatta was a bit dry. I had the cheesecake for dessert which was delicious. The service was excellent, our waitress Tabitha was delightful!
