Traditional village pub that now has diversified into running Tablet training sesions on Thursday mornings (boot-it.org.uk/).
Stopped off at nearby cl site on way to Cadwell park. Popped in for a quick pint and possibly some eats. Pub very welcoming so had to view the menu. I went for the Yorkshire pudding with liver and onions as the wife hates it. It's a real treat for me and was cooked to perfection. She had the gammon, also up to a high standard!! Will be visiting again.
We first visited this excellent community pub and called again on our next trip. It is very friendly and welcoming staff and customers. Good food at very reasonable prices. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday carvery dinner here, the beef was cooked perfectly and great portions. Friendly and welcoming and the cheesecake was one of the best we’d ever had!
Fantastic Sunday dinner. Hadn’t booked but they were able to seat 6 of us. Lovely food and friendly service! Be going back again and staying for pudding.
