We are very excited that the summer holidays are upon us which means we will be open for longer hours! From next week, beginning Wednesday, we'll be open from Noon - 11pm every day through to Sunday. Light lunches will be available too, along with hot drinks and cakes. Don't forget that we also serve food every Saturday afternoon, and our famous Sunday Lunch is getting booked up earlier and earlier every week.
In other news, we are looking to set up a community library and quiet reading/IT space with support from the County Library Service and Pub is the Hub. Plans are going well so far - have your say next time you're in.
The garden is looking lovely finally and we have been blessed with pretty decent weather so far this year. Come and people watch (or tractor spot!) one sunny afternoon soon. Quiz is suspended now for the summer as so many people are off on their hols, but this will start again in the Autumn.
Our menu is now fairly fixed for the rest of the season, with specials being added weekly. Come and give it a try.
Also, don't forget that Cocktails are available Thursday - Sunday at very reasonable prices with an interesting mix of flavours to suit everyone.
