Friendly atmosphere. Rough around the edges and a bit smelly but a proper pub. Very cheap to drink in.
Visited for the first time in my life at Christmas. Much better than I imagined!
Great little pub in the heart of Newcastle that served a great pint of Guinness. The barmaid was so nice and when she found out we were visiting from Ireland she made little shamrocks in our Guinness. The bar had a buzzing atmosphere but still very much friendly and welcoming vibe. Will be back again next time.
Beautifully inexpensive alcohol served by classy knowledgeable staff, the locals were great craic and made us feel really welcome, the best bar I've been to in years, great for an early pint 🍺💥
Have always loved this pub .. ever since I was in my late teens till now (I’m 54 🤣🍻) .. this has a great mix of people and no matter the day or time you come in the atmosphere is always welcoming and friendly .. the bar staff are characters too and are very funny when you get to know them!
