Small friendly pub with great service

A small 2 bar pub. One bar is taken up by the pool table and dart board. The second bar isn't much bigger but it's where you'll find the friendly locals. A large screen tv is mounted on the wall above what I'm sure in the winter will be a very welcoming open fire.

The bar staff are friendly and welcoming as are the locals. They do a good range of freshly cooked food that is well worth a visit for.

The garden is mostly paved but has beautiful flower beds and a small children's play area. At the end of the garden runs the river lea, There is however a fence stopping Younger patrons going for an unexpected swim !

There are letting rooms upstairs that appear to have recently undergone some decoration.

In summary, a nice friendly pub that I'd have no hesitation in using again
