About us

Set in the village of Hewish between Weston-super-Mare and Bristol, we are easily accessible being only minutes off the M5 and have a large, free car park.

The Full Quart is an independent, family run pub with traditional home cooked food and friendly waitress table service.

We are family friendly, please bring the whole family along. Come in and relax by the roaring log burner in the winter, or on a beautiful summer’s day, enjoy sitting outside in our extensive private garden which includes a children’s play area.

This large traditional pub and restaurant offers a great selection of traditional food, for both lunch and dinner. Each and every Sunday we are proud to serve the very best joints of meat from our Carvery.

You are as welcome for a quiet drink as you are for a three course a la carte meal.

I last visited The Full Quart more than 20 years ago, but today I was passing on the way back from a meeting at Weston-super-Mare to Bristol and needed a bite to eat. I asked if they did anything light and was shown the ciabatta menu. I ordered a ham ciabatta, and a half of Butcombe's to wash it down. The ciabatta was very fresh, with a generous amount of ham and a generous side salad and coleslaw. The beer was lovely too, as you would expect from Butcombe's. All in all a very enjoyable lunch stop.

Nice place for the family. Meals are good size. Sunday carvery is ok. You dont get much meat and only do roast potatoes. No mash or boiled. Staff are friendly and as are the locals. Dog friendly area indoors aswell so thats a plus when its raining. Will go again sometime.

Simply awful. We had the carvery. The meat was tough and fatty, inedible. The vegetables were luke warm and tasteless. The server on the carvery was rude and surly. Absolutely not worth the money. The friendly waitresses are the only thing this place has going for it.

It’s very easy to get here, staff is very friendly and the pub is very clean. We ordered two meals from special menu. Both equally tasty and friend was very pleased with his scampi. Edit: after first very successful visit we come back, but this time food was not so great. Was ok for 3 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. My meal wasn’t as described in the specials menu. Staff dealt with if in the best way, although I feel a bit disappointed ☹️
