Former Taylor Walker pub rebuilt in 1958. Having has numerous names, as ZOO TOO it is next door to the original Zoo Bar and just off Leicester Square. No real ale. Licensed in 1752 when the Coach & Horses was on this site.
Plan your next night out at Zoo! We cater to private parties, live sports, corporate entertaining and Christmas parties. Zoo Bar is truly London’s most European bar, playing the best in party anthems with hints of Latin vibes thrown in for good measure. We also show a wide range of sports from all around the world, with 4 large projection screens & 26 plasmas, don’t miss a second of the action! Plan your night and enjoy our loud, quirky & original Zoo bar!.
We paid entry to get into the bar (says free on the sign), security said it was £10 per person but then when I paid for 3 of us, it was £33..? Then we weren’t allowed into the Club as apparently they are two separate places so would have to pay a second entry, even though they are both owned by the same people. The second bar was closed anyway so paid £11 to sit in a bad bar for 20 mins before deciding to leave… Also none of the women’s toilets had loo roll and the hand dryer was broken. Overall was a bad experience.
The worst! The security guards are racist as hell! The nerve of them to actually choke an innocent person for no reason other than them being racist and probably being brought up by racist parents. Shame on this person! We respectfully asked him why he was being disrespectful towards us and he had no reason and proceeded to flip us off. Zoo bar is honestly the worst. It’s not worth it. It’s sticky, ugly and plain disgusting.
What a lovely place to hangout with lovely friends 😊staff are friendly 👍helpful 👍welcoming 😊. Great location. Plus the happy hour.. Waw!! Is A big big bonus ..happy hour is from 12pm to 9pm. What🤣🤣highly recommended.
We stopped off here for a quick drink before heading back to our hotel. The cocktails were 2 for 1, so we had a couple of sex on the beaches. Good cocktail for the price we paid. The staff were really friendly and served us relatively quick. The toilets however, were not very good at all! They were up about 4 flights of stairs and really smelt. Not the cleanest! Overall, bar the toilets, we had a good experience.
We went to the far right side of the bar which was a bit chilled. No entrance fee. The place is old, you can see it from the seat cushion and wooden wall but interiors has a cool vibe. Service is okay. Wish that there can be more food choices aside from pizzas which was “okay”. But you can bring outside food with no extra fee. Toilets are on the 3rd floor via stairs
